Napa Mermaid Hotel & Suites is taking responsibility for its impact on the environment and the local community by improving its performance towards a sustainable future. The hotel’s corporate culture is both, customer-and-people-oriented. Therefore, we engage in activities that demonstr ate our Corporate Social Responsibility on various levels. By operating our hotel responsibly, implementing legislation and respecting our stakeholders, we create strong ties with the local society and build a respectful reputation.
Our most recent achievement is the Travelife Gold Award (a sustainability system focusing on recycling, energy conservation, staff equality and legal compliance).

Napa Mermaid Hotel & Suites is committed to a long-term sustainable approach. Whilst striving to enhance the quality of our guests’ stay, we endeavour to improve the hotel’s impact on the environment and local community. This is achievable by implementing environmental practices on all levels of the hotel’s operation.
Moreover, our hotel organizes events such as beach cleaning and tree planting on an annual basis with the help of our personnel and guests, but also participates in various joint events like the annual Let‘s do it Cyprus cleaning campaign.
On 16 May 2017, Napa Mermaid Hotel & Senator Hotel Apts joined forces and organized the cleaning of the Ayia Napa Internation Sculpture Park.
The management and personnel regularly engage in charity bazzars, blood donation and fund-raising activities. The latest fund-raising, totalling to 500 euro, was organized to support the Pancyprian event of Hope for Children — Stand by Greece, which aimed to reconstruct public childcare facilities and schools destroyed by the deadly forest fires in Rafina/Greece in July 2018.
The hotel also makes in kind donations (food, furniture, linen, laundry services) to local charity foundations, churches, army forces and families in need. Furthermore, it hosts educational visits from local schools and institutions.
In addition, it collaborates and purchases products and services from local companies.
